How do I know if my eyeglasses suit me?

Can I swap my lenses out of my Prescription Sunglasses or Eyeglasses?

Whilst this is technically possible, we recommend that we take on this task for you! If you would like to swap your Lenses around, drop us a message on our chat system and we can talk you through the next steps in returning these for a lens swap.

How do I know my Prescription has been uploaded?

Accepted Answer

After you upload your prescription and pupillary distance image or measurement, you will receive an email letting you know that this has been successfully received. If you continue to receive emails from us requesting this, it means we haven’t received your documents - so please email them directly to our support team at support@sungod.co.

Question 4

How do I measure my Pupillary Distance?

Accepted Answer

For us to measure your Pupillary Distance (the distance between your pupils), we will require either a picture of you holding a credit-card-sized card against your forehead (instructions will be provided after purchase) or your Pupillary Distance measurement in millimetres. You can get this from your optician or the GlassesOn App!

Do you support prescriptions with astigmatism?

Accepted Answer

Yes - if your prescription includes your cylindrical (CYL) measurement. The cylindrical measurement in your prescription corrects the uneven curvature of the cornea, allowing for clearer vision.

What do I do if there is a problem with my Prescription SunGods?

Please reach out to our friendly customer support team at support@sungod.co or through our website chat! Make sure to have your order number to hand, along with a description of your problem, and we’ll aim to get back to you in 24 hours.

How do I upload my prescription?

Accepted Answer

After you order is placed, you will be prompted to upload your prescription and PD measurement on our website. If you don’t get a chance to do this, you can email your documents to support@sungod.co along with your order number.

Can I use my contact lens prescription for my SunGods?

Accepted Answer

To process your prescription order, we require a spectacle prescription. This allows us to make sure that your Prescription SunGods have the perfect measurements for you. We require a prescription that has been issued within 2 years. Additionally, we need your Pupillary Distance which your optician can provide you with. If you don't have this, please contact our Support team.

Do I need thinned lenses?

Accepted Answer

We recommend Thinned Lenses for any glasses that will hold stronger prescriptions. Thinned Lenses allow your SunGods to be lightweight and durable, whilst holding your accurate measurements. We recommend thinned Lenses if your prescription is beyond -2 or +2 of the combined SPH & CYL for each eye. If you are not sure which Lens you need please contact our Support team.

What is your returns policy?

We do not accept returns or exchanges for Prescription products due to the custom nature of prescription lenses. You can check out our return policy T&Cs here

How long will it take for me to receive my Prescription SunGods?

Accepted Answer

From order to delivery, Prescription SunGods take around 10-12 working days to get to you! After you purchase, we will keep you updated on your order status via email.

Question 12

Do you offer prescription on your Limited Edition products?

Accepted Answer

We aren't able to ship Limited Edition SunGods in an alternative design or with prescription Lenses.

Prescription Lenses are currently only available with custom SunGod Lifestyle products, which you can find here.

Can I buy a Prescription Lens Kit for my Frames?

We are currently unable to offer standalone Prescription Lens Kits for your existing SunGods. The only way to grab a Prescription pair of SunGods is to buy a full product here.

We are looking to offer Prescription Lens Kits in the future but we do not have a timeline for this yet. You can register your interest in this here.

Do you offer Varifocal Lenses?

We are currently unable to offer Varifocal Lenses, but we are looking to offer these in the future! You can register your interest in this here.

Please note that all Prescriptions by SunGod orders are automatically built using your distance prescription measurement.

Question 15

My prescription is over two years old, can I still use it?

Accepted Answer

We are only able to accept prescriptions that are dated within the last two years.

This is because your eyes can change over time, making your prescription inaccurate and no longer suitable to correct your vision. If your prescription is out of date then this can cause eye strain, headaches, and blurred vision.

You can get eye tests and updated prescriptions from your local optician.

Do you offer prescription across your Snow and Pace Series?

We don't currently offer Prescription by SunGod across our Snow or Pace Series - however, we're working on being able to offer this in the future.
