We’re proud to announce that SunGod has won the King’s Award for Enterprise: Sustainable Development.
Since 1965, the King’s Awards for Enterprise (previously the Queen’s Awards) have been the most prestigious business awards in the UK.
The awards celebrate the success of innovative British businesses who are leading the way with pioneering products, delivering game-changing social mobility programmes, or breaking new ground with their sustainable development practices.
This year, just 15 companies were awarded the King's Award for Sustainable Development, and here at SunGod, we're proud to announce that we're one of them.
How did SunGod win this prestigious award?
After an incredibly detailed assessment, which dug into every detail of our sustainability initiatives - from how they link to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to how they impact our employees and our customers, to ultimately how they create positive change in the world around us - we have been awarded the 2023 King’s Award for Sustainable Development.

Why does the King's Award matter?
The King's Awards aren't just about recognising achievements so far; they're also about shaping the future of business. Winning businesses have the chance to influence national business policy, through joining Government roundtables on business policy development.
That means SunGod will have a seat at the table in important sustainable business policy discussions - which is a big deal! We're constantly listening and learning with the SunGod Community, to figure out what matters to you, and how we can make SunGod the best it can be for people and the planet. Now, as King's Award winners, we get to share these insights and ideas with other businesses and policymakers, to help put sustainability front and centre in British business policy. We're committed to using this platform to drive positive change, and help other British businesses take the next steps in their sustainability journeys.
The ongoing support and inspiration we get from you, the SunGod Community, was what drove us to apply for and win this award. Through you, we now have the chance to make an even greater impact, as we work together with other businesses to share ideas and strategies to move sustainable business practices forward.
