Creation and Inspiration
Ed, Head of Product: “The design of the Miras™ stemmed from customer feedback, more than anything else. The models in our Lifestyle Series™ are designed to be unisex and one size fits all, but from extensive research and customer surveys, we realised there was space for a new addition. Using elements of our Tokas™ (soft snap-hinges to emphasise the sleek design) and Sierras™ (smaller Frames for smaller faces), our Miras™ strive to be versatile; at home on the trails, on the bike or in the city."
"Miras™ are designed specifically with smaller faces in mind. With the addition of new colourways, like the Grape Limited Edition, Mist frames, and Dark Green Lenses, alongside existing classic colour options, we aimed to take a bolder approach on a smaller scale. We wanted a pair that would fit feminine faces, and would hold up in whatever outdoor activities the SunGod community take on.”
Materials and Timelines
“We began designing the Miras™ last year, and throughout Spring 2024 we worked to finalise the proportions and land on the perfect colourways, making sure the new colours such as Mist, Grape and Frosted Blue Frames were exactly what we'd envisioned. We then worked to finesse the smaller design details, and get these completely perfect for our customers."

Favourite Feature?
“It’s got to be the strong durability, despite the ultra-light, smaller size of the Miras™. Being smaller and thinner than our Sierras™ and Zephyrs™, which were our existing smallest models, the Miras™ needed to be just as tough. And we're pleased to say they are - the durability that comes from always using the best quality materials is no joke."
