Team SD Worx - Protime won 76% of the races they entered last year, making them the world number one ranked Women’s Team. Home to two former world champions as well as the current reigning World Champion and European Champion, we're proud to welcome this team at the very top of their sport to Team SunGod, as we take on our new role as Official Team Eyewear Partner this month.
In 2025, Team SD Worx - Protime will see better thanks to our new performance partnership, which gives their riders the eyewear they need to remain at the sharp end of women’s racing.
One of the longest-running outfits in women’s elite racing, Team SD Worx - Protime started life in 2010, and have continued to develop talent and deliver some of the world’s top riders. In 2021, with the addition of SD Worx as a sponsor, the team became dominant in the Women’s World Tour, taking the wins of the burgeoning women’s race scene.
In the last four years, Team SD Worx - Protime have won the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the Giro Donne, and the Vuelta. They’ve also secured two victories at the Tour of Flanders, one victory at Paris Roubaix and four Strade Bianches. Added to that, their riders have secured three European Championship wins and 3 World Championship wins between them.
Star names for 2025 include reigning World Champion and Belgian superstar Lotte Kopecky, who will wear a pair of one-off customised SunGod Vulcans™ to celebrate her status in the rainbow bands.
Former Olympic and world champion Anna van der Breggen also makes her return to racing with the team, returning from retirement to take on the growing women’s race calendar, and looking to make her mark.
So far as the sprints go, Lorena Wiebes is one to watch, as the European Champion is sure to take more wins in 2025.
Away from the road, Geerike Schreurs, Femke Markus, Blanka Vas and Marie Schrieber continue to ride Gravel and Cyclocross respectively, with the latter achieving her first World Cup win in December.
